American Revolution & Civil War
Took a field trip with Kevin to Schnepf Farms to see a reenactment of the Revolutionary & Civil Wars.
Jumped on the bus...
Once we get there we are greeted by Theodore Roosevelt.
We also got to meet Lincoln.
We also got to see demonstrations on how things were done back in the 1700 & 1800's.

This American Soldier is melting lead to form a bullet.
He was having trouble with the fire and turned to me and said "I wonder if the British would help?" They happen to be standing right behind me.
Here they are getting ready for the Revolutionary War.
A true mountain man.
And the war begins.
This man yelling fire is George Washington himself. We tried to meet him earlier but too many people had the same idea.
Here is my group of boys....little angels. We took a break for lunch just before the civil war began.
The civil war begins.
Last we learned how this man is helping control the wild animal population. ;-)
Once we left the wild man, I mean wild animal furs we hurried to the buses to leave. As we were walking towards the bus...the teacher was walking towards us. Evidently they had left without us. Fortunately they realized we were not on the bus and had turned around to come back for us. Not sure why they were in such a hurry to leave.

Camping...
We had fun this past weekend camping in Heber. We brought along the Rhino.
After riding around, this is what you looked like. I thought Kyler looked pretty cute with winded hair and huge goggles. Notice there are no pic's of me...for a very, very good reason.
Zach and Grandpa...
We brought along my two nephews. They found what they called "an awesome fort".
Speaking of nephews. I have to share a conversation I had with my youngest nephew, Alex. He is the one in the yellow shirt.
Alex: "AAAunt Brandee, guess what?"
Me: "What Alex"
Alex: "I got shot"
Me: "What, who shot you?"
Alex: "The doctor and because I didn't cry I got candy and a sticker"
Me: "Oh, well that's good" (laughing hysterically)
